Indian smartphone brand Lava recently unveiled the Lava Blaze 5G handset as their most affordable 5G smartphone in the domestic market. Again the company is currently working on launching their new Storm series in India. The Lava Storm lineup is expected to include at least two smartphones. These are, Lava Storm and Storm Pro. The exact launch date of these two phones is currently unknown. But now ahead of the launch, a new report has revealed several key specifications of the Lava Storm series of upcoming budget smartphones. Incidentally, the pricing details of the devices in this lineup are yet to be known. But since these are going to be budget-range offerings, expect them to be priced around Rs 15,000. A new report by PriceBaba quoting tipster Pars Googlani has revealed that while the Pro model of the Lava Storm series will offer 5G connectivity, the standard Lava Storm will be a 4G smartphone. Both the devices will be powered by MediaTek's chipset. However, the names of the processors are not yet known. For photography, both the handsets will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera sensor. In terms of power backup, the standard Storm will support 18W fast charging and the Pro model will come with a higher 33W fast charging support.
Incidentally, apart from the mentioned specifications, nothing else is known about the design or any other features of the Lava Storm and Storm Pro from the Pricebaba report. However, the phones are expected to feature an IPS LCD panel and a standard 5,000mAh battery Phones in this budget range may have plastic bodies. Besides, Lava is expected to launch the Storm series in multiple color options.
Note that Lava has not yet confirmed any information about the launch of this new series. However, considering the accuracy of tipster Pars Googlani's leak, it is expected that this new series of Lava will make its debut in the Indian market very soon.
