South Korea-based popular electronics brand Samsung (Samsung) has always launched various ranges of smartphones in the market keeping in mind the needs and capabilities of all types of customers. And because of this diversity can be observed in the customer base of the company. Samsung is currently rumored to be working on several new entry-level smartphones and they are expected to be launched in the market soon. Meanwhile, devices like the Galaxy A04s and Galaxy A04 have also recently received approval from a few certification sites. And now, another entry-level handset called the Samsung Galaxy M04 has been spotted on the GeekBench benchmarking platform and the site's listing has also revealed some of its key specifications. Samsung Galaxy M04 spotted on GeekBench site
A new Samsung phone with model number SM-M045F has been listed on benchmarking site GeekBench. The smartphone is expected to be marketed as the Samsung Galaxy A04. The Geekbench listing lists the chipset of the device as “ARM MT6765V/WB” and the motherboard as “m04”. Also, the phone is also reported to have IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. All these information mentioned in the listing indicate that this Samsung handset will be powered by MediaTek Helio G35 processor. The maximum clock speed of this octa-core processor will be 2.3 Hz. But the presence of this chipset indicates that the Galaxy A04 will not support 5G connectivity. The listing also reveals that the smartphone will come with 3GB of RAM and will run on Android 12 based operating system, most likely One UI 4.1.
On the other hand, this entry-level device from Samsung scored 86 points in Geekbench 4 single-core test and 4,233 points in multi-core test. Currently, there is no information regarding its price and launch timeline. But considering its key specifications, expect the handset to debut as one of Samsung's most affordable smartphones.
