Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi continues to launch their K50-series smartphones one after the other. But there are rumors that the company is working on a successor to the series, the Redmi K60. Recently a popular Chinese tipster has shared some interesting information regarding the features of this series. As such, the Redmi K60 series is claimed to launch in two chipset variants similar to the existing Xiaomi 12S Pro. Let's find out what else he said.
Redmi K60 Series Specifications Leaked
Popular tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some exclusive information online about the upcoming Redmi K60 smartphone series. The tipster claims that Redmi plans to adopt a dual platform strategy with MediaTek Dimension and Qualcomm Snapdragon processors for the series. The tipster also claims that both chipsets will be based on TSMC's 4nm processing node. Which means, the lineup in question will likely use Qualcomm's top-notch Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and MediaTek's Dimension 9000+ chipset.
The tipster also mentioned in his post that the K60 series will have a 'flexible' 2K (2K) resolution display panel and the selfie camera will be housed in a punch-hole cutout in the middle of the top of the display. The base model will also feature a 50-megapixel primary rear camera, where the sensor will be a modified version of the Sony IMX766 sensor. Apart from this, the rumored K-series may also feature an under-display fingerprint sensor and impressive fast charging technology.
