Apple unveiled its latest iPhone 14 flagship smartphone lineup last month. The series includes iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus iPhone 14Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max - all four devices have gone on sale in different countries around the world. However, even before the launch of the flagship lineup, speculations have started in the technology circles about the next generation device of Apple's affordable iPhone SE series. Incidentally, in March this year, the US company launched the iPhone SE (2022) in the global market. And now various information about the fourth edition of the series has started leaking online For example, now a popular display analyst has revealed the display specifications of the next iPhone SE model. Let's know about it in detail.
The leak features the display of the next iPhone SE model
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) Ross Young revealed several important information regarding the display of the upcoming iPhone SE model. According to the analyst, the Apple iPhone SE 4 will have a 6.1-inch LCD display and will house the company's iconic display notch for the selfie camera and Face ID sensor above the screen.
Incidentally, Ross Young has now revised his expectations from what he previously suggested about the iPhone SE's display. He had earlier hinted that the next-generation iPhone SE could come with a 5.7-inch or 6.1-inch display and a punch-hole cutout for the camera sensors above the display.
Also, it is not yet known if the notch of the upcoming iPhone SE will have a TrueDepth camera array for the Face ID feature like other models in the lineup. However, some reports suggest that the new “SE” model will still have the same Touch ID sensor as its predecessor for security purposes, while Apple will not offer the Face ID feature. Again, several reports also suggest that the US company is planning to add Touch ID side buttons to the next generation iPhone SE. Because, the new model won't have much space for the capacitive Touch ID home button on the front.
Note that since the Apple SE series of phones uses the design of older iPhone models, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to be similar in design to the iPhone X, which was launched in 2017.
