Now the admin can delete group messages at will, WhatsApp is bringing a much awaited feature

As WhatsApp is popular worldwide for its facilities of chatting, voice messaging, media sharing and audio or video calling, the group chatting option of this platform is also highly appreciated by the users. Work groups, college groups, friends' chat groups, relatives' groups - I don't know how many groups are spread on WhatsApp. And to keep users happy, the Meta-owned instant messaging medium is trying to innovate its 'group' option as well as other features. A few months ago, they increased the number of group members to 512. Also, it was heard a few days ago that the 'Past Participant' feature will be introduced for WhatsApp groups. But recent reports say, WhatsApp will soon release a new update that will increase admins' control over groups. In this case, admins will get a new option to delete the messages of a group for everyone.

Admins of WhatsApp groups will get this new feature

Once this feature is used i.e. if the admin deletes from a message group the rest of the members will get a notification. That is, even if using the 'delete for everyone' option, as the message is known to have been deleted, the group members will notice that any message has been removed by the admin.

Currently there is a setting available in WhatsApp groups which, if turned on, allows only admins to message in it; Other members can see the message but cannot reply to it. In that case, WhatsApp's feature tracker WABetaInfo recently reported that this time the platform is going to have a feature that will allow administrators to delete any unwanted messages for everyone. Specifically, group members will get the 'delete for everyone' option for other messages as well as for their own messages. As reported by WABetaInfo, the new feature will be called the 'Admin Delete' feature.

WhatsApp is also bringing all these changes

Not only the 'admin delete' feature for groups, but WhatsApp's user interface is also said to be getting a change soon. Currently, this change is included in the Google Play beta program. Perhaps in a later update users will be able to visualize it. It is also known that the company will change the feature called 'Disappearing Message'. In this case, a temporary chat can be automatically deleted within 2 days and 12 hours.
