As WhatsApp often brings new features to keep users happy, it is no exaggeration that the company is trying to improve its security system day by day. WhatsApp chats, calls, media, status – everything is end-to-end encrypted (End-to-end Encrypted); Again, authentication systems such as Two Step Verification are available to use this. However, the security of the instant messaging platform seems to be increasing in the coming days. In fact, recently it was heard that WhatsApp will bring a new feature for its security. And when this feature is launched, users will need additional authorization to login to the account, so it will act as an enhanced version of two-step verification.
As reported by WABetaInfo, this upcoming security feature is currently being tested in WhatsApp beta (version 2.22.17.22). In this case, when the new update of WhatsApp is released, users will see the new security feature, where they will get a notification as soon as their account is logged into a phone or web version.
Simply put, if someone's WhatsApp account is already logged in on one phone and the user tries to login to that same account on another phone – he will get a warning for login approval. Users can access WhatsApp on other phones if they properly input the six-digit security code for approval. This will reduce the chances of WhatsApp being hacked or the account being used by someone else.
WhatsApp is also bringing all these features
However, in addition to this security feature, the company is working to bring the 'Past Participant' feature, which will notify existing users of their previous presence even if someone leaves the WhatsApp group. Moreover, a new setting is also coming in WhatsApp's disappearing messages, which when enabled, specific messages of a chat with the disappearing option on can be saved.
